VC and Private Equity Site Management Interface
In my work with VCs and private equity investors, it's become clear that they don't really like waiting on a consulting firm to make updates to their site's portfolios, news articles, and partner bios. Nor do they want, or need, a full-blown content management system.
Over the years, I have refined a content architecture and management system that allows site updates to be very easy. Executive assistants simply log into a secure area of their site and follow simple links to add a portfolio company, post a news story, edit marketing text, and more. With a database centered around portfolio companies and partners, it's easy to illustrate connections between partners and their investments, news stories for a fund or sector, and the complete spectrum of past to present investments.
